Introduction:The aim of product developments, based on intensive design researches and providing design solutions, had rendered the chief purpose of this course in understanding the process of product design commercialization. The course, designed for this purpose, is therefore focused on the product design value as well as the potential of turning designs into commercial products. Hence, this course includes five fundamental knowledge areas, project organization, design organization, design management, product commercialization process and the actual design project exercise. The course structure, different from general design courses, aims to establish a complete understanding of design processes and the knowledge of how to create a commercial product. Students are requires to have basic knowledge in design, design tooling and marketing for attending this course.
