Introduction:The aim of this course will introduce the emotional image approaches between affective responses and artificial objects both include qualitative and quantitative analysis. This lecture will introduce Kansei Engineering (KE) that is a successful approach in similar studies. Kansei engineering is a systematic methodology applied statistical methods to acquire the equation relationship between product elements and Kansei images. Teaching the approach tools and methods related to explore emotional image is another import item in this lecture to support the research ability. There are many research examples and further research aspects related with emotional image study will be reported in the lecture. Students must finish several research practices in each middle section and an independent study in the final section.
