Introduction:The aim of this course focus on the enhancement of observation, finding problem, problem solving and product forms development. Students are asked to observe users behaviors in our environment. Through the observation, students as a designers have to rethink or redefine the meaning of the interaction of environment. Identifying and formulating issues or problems are part of processes to learn in this course. Finally, all knowledge learned in the processes will be integrated into a product form development. Hence, form development is the essential of this class in second year class. Students will complete two projects in this semester. Each project takes approximately 9 weeks to complete the whole design process. To improve learning quality of this course, lectures regarding to the design topic will be arranged and delivered to the stidents at the beginning of class. In design process, students are required to observe environment, and to use any types of media to present the results which include problem finding and definition and bring up solution with 3D forms.
