Our courses comprise traditional design research, practical study, culture, hi-tech and welfare subjects.

Flexible modules are offered to allow students to explore individual design concepts which are expected to be applicable to research or practice. The hands-on approach is part of the curriculum arrangement in order to ensure the merging of research, education and practice in this particular domain.

To nurture independent research skills and to strengthen coordination abilities, students are required to undertake design project and research courses, and participate in work-study arrangements with Formosa Plastics or other unaffiliated firms. Students also need to take a two-month design practicum working in a business entity before they graduate.
